Seeing that all of my posts asking about you on the CC board get deleted, I decided to trust in my buddy Google and see if I could find you. I am just in shock that the witch of the NCL boards has finally got her way. Let me just say thanks for everything you have done on the boards and that I for one loved not only the wealth of information that you shared but the colorful post you had.

I am sure you don't remember, but I emailed you awhile back complaining about the host of the CC boards. I thought you of all people could do something about her. You replied back and let me know that you had come one offline email from being banned from the boards about her. I was surprised but then after the Atlantic crossing of the Pearl and she showed how immature she could be in your blog, I realized how much she resented you on CC.

You above everything else helped people like me loosen up and become part of the boards. Without people like you I am not sure I would have participated in the NCL & NCL M&G threads.

I keep posting about you on NCL and they keep getting "poofed". So please let me know if this is temporary before I get banned myself.

You rock dude! I hope to sail with you in the future.

.......POOF PROOF CRUISE FORUM!!!.........

We all know that name of that lame board, now don't we? However, I am honored to be in the presence of such an impressive array of outlaws. Shoreguy, Planersedge, Tink. I am hoping that this small forum will take the place of that one since there is a small but truly knowledgable group of members. I hope this won't become another gripe and bitch festival like that innocuous board that we all know the "histry" of.

In fact I can proudly say that I have had threads poofed from both that board and Cruise Critics. Top that one!!!

I just got an email from someone saying that FOS was challenging FOMT to an ALL TIME WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL SHOWDOWN FIGHT TO THE DEATH POSTING SMACKDOWN to see who could make the most ourtrageous posts.

I AM CERTAIN THAT FOMT COULD TAKE FOS WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT!!!!

Thanks for the welcome, Dr. Jim. You are a store of knowledge when it comes to cruising and you'll be missed over on CC. IF not by the administrators, then by your adoring fans. Since I've been banned from CTT, I was hoping this board would be a fun place to keep track of your world travels. But it looks like, as usual, someone will be here to try and scr3w it up.

I will try to just ignore the clawing rabble!

......By my own conscience. I don't need slimy moderators sending insulting private messages to me and my friends using foul language and name calling. That snapped it for me. I asked that my membership be revoked and all my posts be deleted. I don't want my name associated with that board in any way. I even hesitate to mention it here in fear that it will gain some credence from that. I hear that I am being trashed and ridiculed regularly there, but won't stoop to respond. We have an old country expression here in Virginia, "If you wrestle with a pig, you both get muddy. And the pig enjoys it!"

There are other good places to talk about cruising with people who don't spend most of their waking hours looking for things to bitch about. That's pretty much all I saw over there at that lousy excuse for a cruise forum. Somehow, I'll survive without CTT.

The only shame I see in PE, SG and a few others getting banned over at CC is that there isn't a viable alternative for them to share their storehouse of knowledge about cruising. It would be nice if there was a place with people could come to learn about the art of recreational cruising. CTT is definately not that place.

Has anyone noticed that even though CTT has been up and running for over a year that it still has less than 700 members? (In case you are interested, CC has over 250,000). That's because it really doesn't provide anything useful. It's just a bitch session for people who think they are "cruise insiders." It seemed the only time they generate any interest on a topic is when something bad happens or you have a new person to trash. That's sad, bordering on pathetic.

While I'm at it, I find it particluarly hypocritical for some of the folks on CTT, (histrybuf in particular, but including some others) to spend all day on CTT bad mouthing CC as "The Dark Side" and trashing Cecilia as "Drucilia" and then going over to CC, playing patty cake and acting like "Little Miss Goodie Two Shoes?"

She couldn't do any of that on CC because she would be banned. Then she couldn't go over and see how a successful cruise forum is run.

I don't hold anything against you, nippy. Just thought I would set the record straight. In a forum where "buffhead" can't delete my posts!
